CONDITIONS OF SERVICES (the “Service Conditions”)
These Service Conditions govern the sale and delivery of legal services offered on our website or any related site. By purchasing our services via the PMAvocat website or our online booking platform, you acknowledge having read these conditions, which constitute a contract, and agree to comply with them.
By purchasing a consultation or one of our packages (the “Services”), you authorize PMAvocat to carry out the described work.
Our legal consultations are offered via videoconference or phone call, lasting either 30 or 60 minutes depending on the selected service (an “Initial Interview”).
Our packages include an initial consultation with a lawyer. If, during this consultation, we determine that the selected package does not meet your needs, we will suggest a more suitable option.
To make legal services more accessible via its website, PMAvocat commits to executing the assigned mandate and delivering the purchased services as promptly as possible. If additional information is required, it will be requested during or after the initial consultation. Additional fees may apply for express processing, when available (within 48 business hours following the consultation).
Consultations are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, you remain liable for the full amount, including taxes, of the consultation (the “Cancellation Policy”). Furthermore, if a consultation included in a package is canceled, a fee equivalent to a new consultation, including taxes, will be required to continue the file.
Subject to the cancellation policy and the provisions below, you may terminate this contract at any time. However, you remain responsible for payment of hours already completed, based on the hourly rate in effect on our website at the date of termination. Administrative and transaction fees may also apply.
These Service Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Québec. Any dispute related to PMAvocat’s services or these conditions must be brought before the competent court in the judicial district of Québec, to the exclusion of any other court.
